Requires either 2 years relevant work experience and age 21+, or three MQF Level 4 A-level subjects and age 18+, or one MQF Level 4 qualification of 120 ECTS and age 18+, or MATSEC Matriculation Certificate, or SEC passes in English, Maths and one other subject, plus English language proficiency.

Your application pack

Apply after you finish – within 12 months of completing the course, online through the Get Qualified portal using your e-ID. You can make up to 4 applications in any 5 years.

After approval
You'll get a Tax Credit Certificate in the portal. Check whether the credit already shows on your income tax statement; if not, send the Commissioner for Revenue an adjustment form and the RA10 form with copies of the certificates. Unused credit can be carried forward for up to 15 years.Details for the form
