Privacy

Funded Courses Malta is run by grants.mt. We only collect personal details when you choose to send them to us, and we use them only for the reason you sent them.

What we collect and why

• Course questions ("Ask about this course"): your name, email, phone number if you give it, your question, and the course you asked about. We use these to pass your question to that college so they can reply to you. We share them with that college only, and only if you tick the box agreeing to it. Colleges may pay us for the questions we pass on to them; this never changes which courses we show or in what order.
• Contact form: your name, email, whether you're a learner, college or employer, and your message, used only to reply to you. We don't pass these on.
• New course alerts: your email address and/or WhatsApp number, and any choices you make (subjects, level, whether you're working), used only to tell you about new funded courses that match. Alerts may occasionally include a clearly marked sponsored course. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can reply STOP on WhatsApp. We only message you on the channels you tick.

Browsing the site needs no personal details. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

To see how the site is used, we count visits with Plausible Analytics, which uses no cookies and collects no personal details: only totals such as pages viewed, the website you came from, and your country and type of device. It is the same service we use on grants.mt.

Who handles your details

Besides the college you ask about, your details are stored by the services that run this site for us: Netlify (website hosting and form handling), Plausible (visit counts, with no personal details) and Google (the spreadsheet and email we use to manage questions). They act on our instructions and don't use your details for anything else.

How long we keep them

Course questions and contact messages are kept for up to 12 months, so we can follow up if a college hasn't replied, and then deleted. Your alert details are kept until you unsubscribe, then deleted. Once we've passed your question to a college, the college's own privacy policy covers what they do with it.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the details we hold about you, or withdraw your agreement at any time, by emailing info@grants.mt. If you're not happy with how we've handled your details, you can complain to Malta's Information and Data Protection Commissioner (idpc.org.mt).
