Applicants need an MQF/EQF Level 6 Bachelor's Degree in Management, Business or related area with a minimum of 2 years in a junior management role, or an MQF/EQF Level 4 Diploma in Management, Business or related area with a minimum of 5 years' work experience in a managerial position, plus good English at IELTS 6 or equivalent (unless exempt); RPL is also considered.

Apply after you finish – within 12 months of completing the course, online through the Get Qualified portal using your e-ID. You can make up to 4 applications in any 5 years.

Have these ready to upload

Acceptance letter – from the college, showing the start date
Invoices and proof of payment – for every payment you made
Certificate or transcript – showing you completed the course
Declaration that the costs aren't reimbursed – e.g. by your employer
De minimis declaration – only if the course relates to your own business or self-employment

After approval

You'll get a Tax Credit Certificate in the portal. Check whether the credit already shows on your income tax statement; if not, send the Commissioner for Revenue an adjustment form and the RA10 form with copies of the certificates. Unused credit can be carried forward for up to 15 years.
