Full entry requirements
Candidates must be full-time academic staff at MCAST or another vocational education institution, or hold a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant subject area, and be practising in the teaching profession in Vocational Education for a minimum of 4 hrs/week; progression through PG Award (15 ECTS), PG Certificate (45 ECTS), PG Diploma (90 ECTS) and finally the Master's (120 ECTS) requires successful completion of the preceding qualification.

Your application pack

Apply after you finish – within 12 months of completing the course, online through the Get Qualified portal using your e-ID. You can make up to 4 applications in any 5 years.

After approval
You'll get a Tax Credit Certificate in the portal. Check whether the credit already shows on your income tax statement; if not, send the Commissioner for Revenue an adjustment form and the RA10 form with copies of the certificates. Unused credit can be carried forward for up to 15 years.Details for the form
