Applicants must hold a recognised MQF/EQF Level 6 qualification (at least 180 credits) with a documented final degree classification, plus a Master's Programme Suitability Interview; alternatively, applicants aged 27+ can apply under the maturity clause with an MQF/EQF Level 5 qualification (at least 120 credits) and at least 3 years' full-time relevant professional experience in Retail, subject to a combined Maturity and Master's Suitability Interview.

Apply after you finish – within 12 months of completing the course, online through the Get Qualified portal using your e-ID. You can make up to 4 applications in any 5 years.

Have these ready to upload

Acceptance letter – from the college, showing the start date
Invoices and proof of payment – for every payment you made
Certificate or transcript – showing you completed the course
Declaration that the costs aren't reimbursed – e.g. by your employer
De minimis declaration – only if the course relates to your own business or self-employment

After approval

You'll get a Tax Credit Certificate in the portal. Check whether the credit already shows on your income tax statement; if not, send the Commissioner for Revenue an adjustment form and the RA10 form with copies of the certificates. Unused credit can be carried forward for up to 15 years.
