Applicants need internal progression via MCAST Advanced Diplomas (Health Sciences, Dental Surgery Assistants, Pharmacy Technicians, Health and Social Care, or Social Care) or 2 A-Level and 2 I-Level passes, plus a Values Based Interview, occupational health screening certificate and a clean police conduct certificate; a Maturity Clause route exists for applicants aged 23+.

Apply after you finish – within 12 months of completing the course, online through the Get Qualified portal using your e-ID. You can make up to 4 applications in any 5 years.

You'll get a Tax Credit Certificate in the portal. Check whether the credit already shows on your income tax statement; if not, send the Commissioner for Revenue an adjustment form and the RA10 form with copies of the certificates.
