Applicants must hold a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) Second Class or better (or Third Class with additional qualifications/experience) or a Bachelor of Arts with an average mark of at least 55% in the same or a closely related area of study, or a comparable degree, as assessed by the Board.

Apply after you finish – within 12 months of completing the course, online through the Get Qualified portal using your e-ID. You can make up to 4 applications in any 5 years.

You'll get a Tax Credit Certificate in the portal. Check whether the credit already shows on your income tax statement; if not, send the Commissioner for Revenue an adjustment form and the RA10 form with copies of the certificates. Unused credit can be carried forward for up to 15 years.Details for the form
