Applicants must hold a first cycle degree with at least Second Class Honours or Category II (or Third Class Honours/Category III with additional conditions) in a relevant area of study, with possible interview.

Apply after you finish – within 12 months of completing the course, online through the Get Qualified portal using your e-ID. You can make up to 4 applications in any 5 years.

You'll get a Tax Credit Certificate in the portal. Check whether the credit already shows on your income tax statement; if not, send the Commissioner for Revenue an adjustment form and the RA10 form with copies of the certificates. Unused credit can be carried forward for up to 15 years.Details for the form
