Full entry requirements
Learners need a minimum of a Level 6 qualification (e.g. OTHM Level 6 Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety) or an honours degree (2.2) with relevant knowledge and experience in occupational health and safety, must be 21 years or older at the start of the course, and applicants with substantial relevant professional experience may be considered case-by-case.

Apply after you finish – within 12 months of completing the course, online through the Get Qualified portal using your e-ID. You can make up to 4 applications in any 5 years.

After approval
You'll get a Tax Credit Certificate in the portal. Check whether the credit already shows on your income tax statement; if not, send the Commissioner for Revenue an adjustment form and the RA10 form with copies of the certificates. Unused credit can be carried forward for up to 15 years.Details for the form
