Applicants must hold a Bachelor of Education (MQF 6, 180 ECTS) with 5 years teaching experience, or a Bachelor's degree plus PGCE with 5 years teaching experience, or a Master's degree (MQF 7, 90 ECTS) with 5 years teaching experience, or an MQF 5 qualification in Education plus Permanent Teacher's Warrant and 10 years teaching experience.

Your application pack

Apply after you finish – within 12 months of completing the course, online through the Get Qualified portal using your e-ID. You can make up to 4 applications in any 5 years.

You'll get a Tax Credit Certificate in the portal. Check whether the credit already shows on your income tax statement; if not, send the Commissioner for Revenue an adjustment form and the RA10 form with copies of the certificates.
