Full entry requirements
Applicants must be working in a helping profession (e.g. counsellor, psychotherapist, psychologist, mental health nurse, psychiatrist, GP, nutritionist or dietician), demonstrate successful completion of relevant training or substantial experience, hold an MQF Level 7 certification (or equivalent) from a recognised local or foreign awarding body, and have English proficiency equivalent to at least IELTS Level 6.

Apply after you finish – within 12 months of completing the course, online through the Get Qualified portal using your e-ID. You can make up to 4 applications in any 5 years.

After approval
You'll get a Tax Credit Certificate in the portal. Check whether the credit already shows on your income tax statement; if not, send the Commissioner for Revenue an adjustment form and the RA10 form with copies of the certificates. Unused credit can be carried forward for up to 15 years.Details for the form
