Applicants must hold a minimum Level 4 certification or A-level standard education, or an MQF Level 5 (60 ECTS) Diploma in Leadership and Management or equivalent in Business and Management, have at least 5 years' experience in a management position, and have English proficiency equivalent to IELTS Level 6.

Your application pack

When to apply, what to have ready, and the details to copy into the official form. You submit it yourself.

Apply after you finish – within 12 months of completing the course, online through the Get Qualified portal using your e-ID. You can make up to 4 applications in any 5 years.

Have these ready to upload

Acceptance letter – from the college, showing the start date
Invoices and proof of payment – for every payment you made
Certificate or transcript – showing you completed the course
Declaration that the costs aren't reimbursed – e.g. by your employer
De minimis declaration – only if the course relates to your own business or self-employment

After approval

You'll get a Tax Credit Certificate in the portal. Check whether the credit already shows on your income tax statement; if not, send the Commissioner for Revenue an adjustment form and the RA10 form with copies of the certificates. Unused credit can be carried forward for up to 15 years.
